BARC is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. We received our 501(c)(3) status in 2002 and have been helping make spay and neuter services affordable and accessible since 2003.
Our mission is simple: reduce shelter intake and euthanasia by helping families spay and neuter their pets.
BARC provides year-round financial assistance for spay and neuter surgeries for families who may otherwise struggle to afford them. There are no residency restrictions, allowing us to help pets and their families throughout the communities we serve.
With the generous support of our donors and grant partners, BARC has subsidized more than 83,000 spay and neuter surgeries since 2003—and we continue working every day to help even more.
BARC assistance is intended for privately owned family pets. Rescue organizations and breeders are not eligible.
